Love that a Human called and confirmed my appointment!! The Dr. Is always humorous, but very knowledgeable. He thoroughly explains everything and helps troubleshoot any issues you may have. Clean office, amazing modern equipment. Would recommend Dr. Fuja and staff at the Eye Institute to anyone!

I went to this location on the recommendations of several acquaintances. It was 120 mile drive oneway. I went with a friend, who also had an appoitnment. We went in to the exam room together, which i thought was unprofessional. I didn't object. But after the fact realized that there was too much banter which diminished the quality of the exam. The office staff were a little stand offish. I had questions about my circumstances that they were hesitant to answer. Specifically, that I had a certificate of payment from the Lyons Club. 1. I learned that you can only get a exam here that they do not sale or fit eye glasses. This was a problem for a number of reasons, as mentioned the method of payment made it so i had to wait for them to submit the voucher for payment and then issue me a check for the balance after the exam had been paid. One of my questions was how much for the exam, and i could not get an answer from staff. The examiner, was pleasant and skilled, but again I could not get a specfic answer to my questions about cost with out pressing the issue. Finally I was told I would get half back. This would equall $125.00. When the reimbursement finally came almost 60 days after the appointment it was only $100.00. Then I learned that my prescription was for only reading glasses and not a full exam. I have been without proper reading glasses for almost 2 years. I was granted a gift from the Lyon's Club because of my circumstances, that should have covered both the exam and the rx glasses. I still do not have glasses because the type I needed (safety) cost more than the $100.00. It was suggested that I order glasses online which are to be less expensive. However, the prescription was for the lenses only and I was not fitted for frames so ording online without that information was not possible. I rode a long way to get and incomplete exam, no glasses and no way to get any without going to another center. I was not treated as well as i should have been based on my method of payment. This occurred in October 2018.

Staff is always kind and friendly. The doctor has an excellent bedside manner, they treat you with respect and you aren't rushed in and out like a herd of cattle! Thanx to the doctor and staff for serving Sweetwater County ?
