That is such a gift. Lots of simple questions. Think about where you want to be but not how to get there. Think about the goal, the boundaries. Be prepared for emotional stuff.
Then they came and did the work. A lot of work. Consistently, without snark, work. Conquered stairs, dust, dirt. Took care of themselves without asking me to do that.
Took a huge problem, broke it down into small steps, and then took the steps. Turned chaos into order.
