About Crete Carrier Corporation
Crete Carrier Corporation's terminal is spacious and offers nice amenities including showers, a laundry room, a driver lounge with recliner chairs, and vending machines. The parking area is large and there are food delivery and Uber services available. The staff are pleasant to work with. However, it's a dirt lot and there is a train nearby that can be noisy at night. There is not much around the terminal besides a steakhouse down the street. Some drivers have been there for many years and find the pay and treatment to be good, noting that like any company, it may not be perfect for everyone's needs. The terminal in this location has been praised as one of the favorites, along with the Kansas City terminal.
This is a great Crete yard. Plenty of space and nice amenities.As for working here; this company works for me. I’m a driver coming up on 20 yrs with Crete Dec 4th 2023. The pay is good and they have treated me good.Like any company, not all is perfect and good 100% so it’s a matter of your needs and what works for each individual.Kudos to Crete for all you’ve done for me!
This is a very solid terminal. They have 3 showers ? and laundry room (2 washers, 3 dryers). The driver lounge has recliner chairs. They have vending machines but nothing much in them. There is plenty of room to park. The only issue I have is that it's a dirt lot, and there is a train ? beside the terminal that wakes ⏰️ u up at night ?. There is nothing around the terminal besides TJ steakhouse down the street. The steak there is pretty good. It's not better than Big Texan Steakhouse in Amarillo, Texas.
This and Kansas City are my favorite terminals. Good showers, laundry, very comfortable driver's lounge, huge parking area. Food delivery and Uber runs around here.The staff here have always been pleasant to work with.The I80 is closed for a few days and it's getting hit with a blizzard. Take a look at the photo.
