I noticed an issue with my outside heat pump unit. John and Ross put it through the motions and after explained what they believed the problem had been, explained it was self resolved. Absten services has the best people and I highly recommend them!
When I called Shane I asked him what he charged an hour and he referred me to his office. So I called the office, they did not answer the phone with a company name so I thought I was dealing with a sole proprietor business. The lady would not tell me what they charged an hour, that it depended on the job and that Shane did his own pricing. The gentleman that came to fix my GFCI Outlet was very nice but he wasn’t here an hour and charged me $314.78. This is outrageous. I am 72 years old and live by myself and I feel I was taken advantage of. Work was done on 11/04/22. I didn’t know it was Absten & Sons until he gave me the invoice. I was referred to Absten and Sons for a replacement of the HVAC in our home. Our friends had used them and said the service was excellent. After evaluating three other companies we found that they also had the best price. Our system was installed and everything is working perfectly. They were on time and worked diligently to make sure the systems were installed properly. They were also very friendly and answered all my questions.
