Charlie is the Best in the Craft! He is the only shoe repair in WV besides in Morgantown WV. We always bring our shoes and my purses here. He fixes & repairs soles and all things with shoes. An art that we will surely miss when he closes. Support this man at whatever cost. Cash only. Merchant fees kill small businesses. Tell him Sandy sent you! Thank goodness for Charlie being open! It is very hard to find. There is no sign out front. It also smells of smoke and the glue that they use inside the store. They do good work but for the price, I could've bought a brand new pair of boots.
I drove from Beckley to his shop, we have no repair shops here, to have the sole or caps put back on the heels of my pumps. I paid to have them sent back to me. He did the complete sole of my shoes and they were amazing, beautiful work. I have several other shoes that I'll be taking to him and have told my friends. We have been lost in Beckley since the 1 repair shop stopped and just sells boots. I'm so thankful I took a chance and drove to his shop.
