“Chris Bailey and his team are true professionals. They use high quality materials and they get the job done in a timely and professional manner. Rising Sun remodeled a kitchen, powder room into a full-bath, and reconfigured the master bathroom and closet in 2018-2019 in my 1970s home in the Suncrest neighborhood of Morgantown. I wrapped in a portion of the cost into my mortgage and Chris was very patient in working with my bank and submitting the necessary paperwork. Once Rising Sun commits to a project, they keep on a tight schedule until it is completed. Chris inspects the work almost daily--on one occasion, I noticed there was a problem with the light placement in the kitchen ceiling. I texted Chris and he had already noticed it and had contacted the subcontractor to get it fixed. At my one year inspection there were very few issues (the thresholds had cracked, for example) and Rising Sun enthusiastically fixed these minor issues. I was extememly impressed with the subcontractors Rising Sun hires to do tile work, cabinetry, plumbing, painting, and dry wall. “Jason and his crew were amazing. They worked with us and and found a way to accommodate some pretty specific requests. They put in extra time to source materials during the Covid-19 shortages to keep our project on time. They showed up on time everyday until the work was done and their workmanship was spot on. If all of this wasn't enough they came in with one of the lowest prices we were quoted and stayed on budget throughout the project. I think it's great that the owner of the company was working here everyday and it shows on the quality. I can't imagine using anyone else and can't wait to work with them again on our next home improvement project“

“Mike and his crew are the best contractors I've ever had the pleasure of working with in the Morgantown, WV area. My chimney was leaking and I had contacted several contractors in the area and even scheduled a few only to experience no calls and no shows for appointments and ultimately being left with nothing but ignored calls. Mike was very professional, kind, and informative throughout the entire process. I left him a message and within an hour he had called me back to ask what he and his crew could do for me. In October of 2022 he repointed my chimney and replaced the cap to fix an ongoing leak issue I had been experiencing. Mike was thorough in ensuring the leak was fixed and even asked me to hold off leaving this review until I had experienced several good rain storms to ensure the work was done. I spent a week calling other local contractors, just trying to get someone to show up, stabilize it before the next storm, and get an estimate for repair/replacement. I wish I had found Judd’s number sooner, because he came out the same day I called!He helped us work through all the back and forth with our insurance to get our new roof covered, and they began work as soon as we got approval from the insurance company. It was not and easy job - high roof, tight neighborhood streets, old building.
