Small but quaint. So the equipment needed, a yoga/aerobics room with classes of all kinds, including self defense and dance. Locker rooms with showers, stocked with toiletries and hair dryers. And my favorite part, the inground indoor pool, available for free swim, ropes on one side for lap swimming, and classes. If a pilgrims employee, you get free membership. Handicapped parking and entry. Drinks and snacks available inside.
Enlisted a bit ago, so still getting aquatinted with the staff and equipment. You have a variety of treadmills, and cycles. Indoor pool during the day, and pool activities spread around different times during the week. Weight lifting equipment is good. Everything you might need, they have. Storage for your personals are available. Cleaning equipment for after use is available in place. And 24 hr gym use available. Working long hours, I find this extremely advantageous.
We love the opportunities the wellness center have been able to give our children: swimming lessons, Girls on the Run, and flag football to name a few. The impact it has on community and individuals is broad.
