Valley Health Urgent Care | Spring Mills

Had a good experience at spring mills location everyone was pleasant from the front end to the back end. Shout out to Tracy, Andrew and Mattie!

I went there for the first time today and was very impressed! I was able to book an appointment ahead of time, check in was easy, and I waited all of 5 minutes to be seen. The whole visit was quick and easy without feeling rushed. I will definitely come back whenever I’m in need of urgent care!

Very professional friendly knowledgeable staff. The diagnosis was immediate and medication was prescribed that actually worked. This is day 3 on antibiotics, clearing our medical condition already. We are grateful 🙏 for your service

First time here - very happy with the overall experience especially the NP on duty- she was wonderful.

The WORST experience I have ever had at an Urgent Care.
I came in complaining to the staff about my respiratory issues. I told them I wouldn't be surprised if I had pneumonia.
Once I got back in an exam room these people wanted to do an EKG on me for some reason.
Just 2 weeks prior my cardiologist did my anual heart workup with stress testing and multiple EKG tests... so I didn't need an Urgent Care to do again.
The doctor listened to my chest and said he could tell my lungs were full. He went on to say the x-ray machine was broken so he couldn't do a chest x-ray but he offered to call an ambulance to take me to the hospital ER.
I left the place as quick as I could driving to my GP in Winchester, VA who actually is a doctor.
They did a chest x-ray, found I had pneumonia, gave me Z-Pak prescriptions of Prednisone and Azithromycin. They said I should be a lot better in 24 hours.
The clinic staff at Valley Health Urgent Care Spring Mills is an absolute joke.

This place is amazing! After having a very bad experience at a different location I was hesitant but let me tell you these people blew me away with the difference. It was night an day. My son is non verbal autistic an the nurse recognized it immediately an went above an beyond to make him comfortable. When it came time for swabs (the time we all dread for kids) they made it so painless. Literally the best my son has ever been for swabs! When he got overwhelmed the dr quickly came in an assessed him called in his prescription an had us on our way! I wish I had the chance to catch names but they all are amazing!! Thank yall for everything!!

I see my dr here and I really like it.

I’m very disappointed in this place. My husband went over a week ago for red rash on his leg, swelling, pain ( to the point he was limping) they diagnosed it as cellulitis and prescribed him an antibiotic. 2 days later it progressed and the rash moved down his leg further. He went to the ER and turns out he has a blood clot in his leg. Fast forward to tonight my husband took our son in cause he’s been complaining about an upset stomach all day. The Nurse Practitioner wanted to do a strep test because it “could” be a symptom. Even thought he had no other symptoms of streak. Okay fine whatever. They sat there and waited for the results for over 45mins, at this point it’s pushing 830 luckily a nurse poked her head in the room otherwise they would have been locked in they didn’t even know they were still there. The nurse practitioner Sharrisa just left. Never came back in the room to talk with my husband or anything. That’s just ridiculous. How can you just leave your patients waiting and you just left. I get it’s your time the leave but atleast have the decency to let your patient and the other staff know you are leaving!!!

Doctor smelled like body odor and weed. Went in for a rash all over my body that I got after having shingles. Didn’t listen to me about what was going on just wanted to talk about new things I could have been exposed too which I had told him nothing because I hadn’t left my house but he just kept going on and on about what I could have been exposed to.

I want to say thank you to Dr. Joshua Handbury for his exceptional service this morning and the fact he knew my entire medical history before walking in the room. My specialists always send me to this facility because they are phenomenal. My husband West Virginia Delegate Larry D Kump and I (Cheryl Kump) want to thank you and we highly recommend that anyone that needs to be seen to please go to this Urgent Care or even Winchester because you will not find a better staff anyplace else.
