I could not be more unhappy with this dental office. We were with them about 2-3 years. When we started there we were “in network.” When we received a $400 bill, I called the office to complain. The nonsense I was told was they called, left voicemails, emails and texts about being “out of network.” This is an absolutely lie! They never once did any of these means of communication! I would have loved to see proof of any of these so called means of communication.They did not let us know we were out of network. Why would we stay with a dentist out of network!!! That’s absolutely ludicrous. There are tons of dentists in Martinsburg.
The only idea I can come up with is they steal money from client's. Why else would you lies about contacting patients about being out of network.
They sent the bill to collections.
My suggest is stay away from this office or constantly check your status with Insurance company.
The worse office staff! I spoke with them several times. They did even offer an apology. Do your job! Instead, of lying. No one in their right mind would stay with a group out of network just be price gouged.

Dr. Hancock and his team are always friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. It's clear they genuinely care about each person who comes through the door. Due to a change in Medical insurance, I had to briEfly see Another dentist in the hedgesville road area. It was a terrible experience and I feLt uncomfortable with the dentiSt (not friendly, pushy about costly unnecessary dental work). I'm relieved to be back in this office where I feel comfortable and well taken care of. I honestly would pay out of pocket before going to someone else. This practice is honest, trust worthy and highly recommended !

Jess was again very helpful and did a great job cleaning polishing my teeth and checking to see if there were any foreseeable problems. She scheduled future appointments too! Always a fine experience.

Hancock Dental has always been fantastic. They listen to my concerns, and everyone there is friendly and welcoming. For the last couple of appointments, I have had to bring my daughter with me and it's never been a problem. They even let her pick out a toothbrush and sticker at the end just for being there with me. She loves coming to the dentist. Any positive feelings I can get for my kid about the dentist is a huge win! The teeth cleaning is professional and gentle. They are thorough when cleaning around my permanent retainer. They remember me and follow up with anything I need, but never anything unnecessary. I highly recommend Hancock Dental. Five stars!
