For my very first tattoo the kind staff at 100Proof introduced me to Cat, a delightful Scottish feline. She caught me at the counter, dragged me to her nest and addressed my questions and fears. The procedure began with a dry run, no ink, and I was amazed. I thought it would be like being clawed and bitten but it was more of a fuzzy, furry feeling. When the ink began the conversation flowed from art, drawing and upgrades to mice and birds, fish and other important kitty stuff, taking my mind off the process. At the tail end Cat gave me aftercare instructions and that was that.
The experience was purr-fect.
I started coming here in March 2025. I wanted a memorial tattoo for my Mama. Seth was the artist that took my request. What started as 3 butterflies has now turned in to a full sleeve. Have had multiple sessions with Seth and never an issue. He is extremely patient, kind, and very easy to work with. He LISTENS to my requests and hesitations. I just started my other arm sleeve this past weekend.
Staff has changed since I last got work done here. The only one I recognize anymore is Brooke (apologies if I misspelled your name) who does piercings at the shop. Overall, everyone is super chill and welcoming. Mostly judgement free zone unless you're a pussy (probably). Went into for a walk in with a close friend, he wanted some work done and I just wanted to get under the needle again. They took us both easily and worked us into their schedule. I don't remember each artists name that did our tattoos, but definitely coming back to the gentleman that did mine and I know my friend is coming back to see the guy who did his. Love the work.
