From a father/son standpoint - George was more than just a barber, he was a great listener, compassionate & cared beyond just a good haircut. Gave my son (autistic) & I a place to go & was truly accepted. My grandson calls him
"Hippie George", my autistic son called him a "Good Friend". I considered him a man you could talk to about all situations in life.
If there was a + on the ratings - I would have given a 5 star plus.

Cuts are still affordable. They were at $12 for a year or two after Covid. They charge $15 for a regular cut, skin fade, trim. You really can't beat it. It is not the same with George not at the shop now, rest his soul.

I took my nephew here to get his haircut for his birthday, it's where he likes to go. It was a small place, there was chairs available to sit in but there were some others waiting to get a haircut too. I think they only take cash. There is a save a lot and dollar general in the plaza which I walked to dollar general while my nephew was getting his hair cut. There is also a bowling alley in the plaza too (strike zone). There is plenty of free parking. There's a speedway gas station near by also and a car wash with vacuum.
