I visited the VA medical center in Huntington, WV on Thursday, April 30, 2026 for a medical concern involving my right leg. I was seen by Dr. Brian Barhorst. Dr. Barhorst provided me with outstanding care and addressed my problem in a very thorough and knowledgeable way. I would just like to say thank you, Dr. Barhorst for being such an excellent and caring medical professional.
I transferred to here from Portsmout/Chillicothe and the care and speed of access is amazing. I've been here since January of this year and have met so many people who work here, they are the hardest, most compassionate people I've met at any facility I have ever been to. They have processed every issue I've had medically with the utmost diligence, knowledge, and understanding.
One of the best VA hospital that I’ve been to I left California and the Veterans Hospital Loma Linda, his second to this hospital in Service, professionalism and mannerism. I actually love this Hospital the dumb move for me in two months and found more stuff that I had gone then the hospital at the VA Loma Linda.
