Grateful that there's a Y in this small town. The place is friendly, and most of the equipment is in good working order. The men's steam room is awesome: gets hot n steamy in just a couple minutes. The sauna has the potential to be a good experience, but I've never seen a sauna room that takes so long to get heated up. We're talking 2 or 3 hours to reach Palm Springs temps (115 degrees-ish), so if you're there for the sauna, don't come in early enough that you're the first to turn it on or you'll lose half the day waiting for it to get above 125 degrees, which is still low for a sauna and is the hottest I've ever seen it get to. Rumor has it that one of the heat elements isn't working. Seems like that oughta get fixed then.
Darlene is an excellent beautician and I would recommend her. She does an awesome job.
Sonny's carpet is a hassel-free, professional, high quality flooring installation company. They care about the quality of their work and your satisfaction. I've used them several times on multiple homes and units. The peace of mind I have knowing they won't rip flooring during installation is a bonus. Honest people. I wouldn't trust anyone else.

The Arts Center is a community treasure. I am the principal of a small school in the area and have relied on Dani and the Arts Center to give my students the opportunity to both participate in and enjoy fine arts experiences that otherwise would be unavailable in our little town. My students have had their art on public display at the center, they have attended classes there, enjoyed concerts...the list goes on. We are very appreciative and blessed to have this resource for our kids. I enjoy it, too!

My kitten was waiting to be fixed at her current vet and the weekend before developed a pyometra- requiring emergency surgery. My vet couldn’t get her in and after calling everywhere I felt helpless as no one could get her in the same day for the surgery. After calling Allegheny Vet. Services, they were able to get us in asap. I drove there and was greeted and reassured by the kindest staff. A couple hours went by and I received a txt that the surgery went well and she was resting. I was able to take her home the same evening. Thank God I found them and so thankful for their quick and compassionate care.
All staff were friendly and down to earth. Also the lady named Mandy gave me a shot, which usually hurts, that I didn't even feel. Great people all around.
Been little over a year ago had a sump pump installed in cellar the guys did a good job my furnace is in there with all the rain water it has been pumping out it really saved me very pleased

I have been to several nail salons and my daughter lives in Elkins so she invited me to go to VIP nails with her for an early Easter gift. That was my first visit there and I have went back twice for fills and both of my daughters along with my 5 year old granddaughter has been returning with me as well. We absolutely LOVE the beautiful work they have done on each of our nails , the atmosphere is sooo inviting, the entire salon is very clean and well maintained but the welcoming staff that is there is worth the extra miles to drive just to have such KIND and such welcoming, friendly staff makes us know we have chosen a permanent nail salon. If you’re looking for gorgeous nails being manicure or pedicure you really need to go visit V. I. P. Nail salon, you won’t regret it.
