Thank you to the PA and nurses who were there for me after I sliced my finger open on the sharp edges of a can lid. You were at the end of a very long shift, but you saw me through it even when I became sick to my stomach! I really appreciate you all and would recommend your facility to anyone needing quick care! I saw James Mallett earlier today for cold/flu symptoms and to test for a UTI after passing a kidney stone yesterday morning. This PA questioned almost everything I told him as if I was making everything up and I felt very overlooked and not cared for. I went through almost 24 hours of excruciating pain, a trip to the ER, vomiting 4-5 times from the pain, and actually passing the stone (and catching it to take to my new urologist) and James Mallett did not seem to believe that I had actually had one. At the end of the visit, all I was told was that I didn't have a UTI and to take Sudafed for my cold/flu symptoms. I understand there's not much more to be done for me, but it would help if what I tell the nurses and doctors would be taken seriously. I had to repeat myself multiple times because he would question my symptoms or the reason I was feeling ill. It was extremely frustrating.

Money grabbing Quik Care. I went in for a UTI was tested and prescribed an antibiotic for 5 days, felt better on day 2, day 6 the symptoms returned. I called Medpoint and asked Dr Kerns to extend or send another antibiotic script in for me. They refused to do that, they wanted me to return for another office visit and be charged again for the visit. I've never been to a Dr. who prescribed me an antibiotic that didn't get the job done require me to pay for another office visit, in order to get another prescription. Regardless I didnt go back, if I have to pay for another office visit I'll do it somewhere else. Beware

Dr. Hicks and Ashleigh are absolutely amazing!!! The best Healthcare staff I have ever worked with across all the states I have lived in.
They really get to know you and are extemely thorough, which allows them to recommend a best course of action. Dr. Hicks always makes sure I fully understand what he is recommending and WHY as well as alternate options and all the pros and cons. He does this with patience and listens to all my concerns and never makes me feel rushed or like he is condescending to explain.
Absolutely amazing we need more doctors like them!!

My granddaughter was very sick with a high fever. It was late and we rushed to get to Medpointe, it was closing lights were turned off My daughter-in-law ran to the door. They took one look at my granddaughter and opened up and treated her So very thankful.

They greet you immediately all the staff treats you respectfully and professionally and gets a diagnosis ASAP. They can also send you to get x-rays if necessary. I’ve always been pleased with their services. It’s very quick and thorough. All the staff is very helpful. Would highly recommend!

The staff is wonderful with my kids. They acknowledge any concerns my kids may have about being at the doctor's office and try to ease their worry. They talk through everything they are going to do, and they do it with kindness and jokes that have my little kids giggling.

Got here and paid my copay at 3:45 took them 20 min to get me back to a room and it's almost 5 pm and and still haven't seen a doctor yet this place is a joke worst health care ever, I am sitting here ready to cough up a lung nobody even offered a drink of water when you can hear me cough down the hallway, then the doctor comes in and tells me what I don't have side effects and reactions to .... when I am 52 and it's my body I am pretty sure I know my body.

Ever since WVU took over, this place is a mess. Dr. Romine died and all of the actual sincerity and care for patients is gone. Dr. Montgomery used to be great and now seems to not care very much when you see him. The entire front end staff is a joke and dealing with WVU billing is a nightmare. Stay away and go to a MonHealth facility.
