“I've worn glasses since my 40's - first, just reading glasses; then progressives to help with distance, too - and, until yesterday - I've never had a truly successful visit with anyone who made my prescriptions for me. I include all, including my ophthalmologist's expensive attached optical shop. Yesterday, I went to the Walmart Vision Center in Charlestown, where the manager, Sonja Lauren, helped us (my husband and myself) find 3 pairs of very attractive, comfortable glasses - and at a ridiculously low price! She listened closely to what we wanted (I took my current glasses as an example, which helped, too.) She then worked every angle she could find for us (including checking our medical insurance) and the bill just kept dropping. I wound up with a bill that was literally hundreds of dollars less than I'd anticipated - and Sonja made the visit itself actually enjoyable. I cannot recommend anyone more highly!“
