I called State Electric for a replacement glass shade for a light fixture that I already had installed. Although the process was a little long, I was able to give them the model number from the mfg website. DJ at State Electric was reliable, professional and very helpful in getting me the information I needed.

It is a convenient place to pick up your electrical supplies. Also it is the only store in Beckley that carries Klein tools. And the staff is very friendly. Kind of reminds me of an electrical store in Mayberry if there was one one the Andy Griffith show. I highly recommend giving them a visit. I have been shopping there for 30 years plus.

I just worked my last day at state and hated to go but my time was needed elsewhere. I can honestly say from an employees point of view that this is a first class business with tons of great people that make it a blast to work there. Even Mitch the store manager and Larry the assistant are always helping in some way even something as simple as picking orders and helping load trucks. That's just a rarity in today's work place. I wouldn't hesitate to ever buy anything from this place cause I know what type of people are here and their the type of people that will go above and beyond for others. Sometimes good people and a good experience is better then the lowest price. And if I make my way back to wv I will be right back here with the guys getting it done. Definitely one of the best places I have ever worked a career business without a doubt!
