All About Hair

All About Hair offers a peaceful and soothing environment ripe for being pampered. I followed Michelle Keenan from another hair salon in the area and have been with her now for a few years. The color and haircut that I receive from Michelle meets my expectations every time. If you really want to elevate your being pampered during the winter months, ask Michelle for a deep conditioning treatment. It turned my dry hair into softer and shinier hair. Michelle goes all out to accommodate you should you have to cancel and rebook appointments. She is so easy going that I don't get stressed out about having to do so. The only time Michelle is a little rough is during my upper lip hair removal treatments with the hot wax ... elbow nudge and lol.

I have been getting my hair cut by Michelle since I moved to Milwaukee in 2017. I have followed her to three salons and now she is at All About Hair in Wauwatosa. The salon is great! Good size, easy to find parking, and a lowkey vibe. For me after a long day at work coming to get my hair done, I actually prefer a quieter experience. Michelle is great at what she does. She always takes the time to consult with me about what I want for my haircut and guide me using her knowledge of what would look best for me and my hair type. She convinced me to try a blunt cut when I had long hair, which made my fine hair so voluminous looking, and I never would’ve tried that without her encouragement. When I wanted to go shorter recently, she looked at some videos of styles I liked, and then consulted with me to customize it to what would look best for me, and how I also like to wear my hair. Michelle will always offer to reevaluate with me midway to make sure it’s looking right to me and to make changes like taking more off or adding more layers, which is really generous because it shows that she cares that I like the cut, even if it takes more time for her. She’s also just a really cool person to chat with and feels like a girlfriend I’ve known for many years. I’d highly recommend going to All About Hair and to Michelle specifically.
