I have an older Pfaff machine that was passed down to me from my mother. My mother passed away 4 years ago and the machine really hasn't worked well for awhile. The owner of this store had me come in, she worked with me and my machine and now it works. She did this at no cost to me and I am so thankful to have my machine to use again.

Having experience with other Bernina Sales stores, I can tell you that Sew Smart is head and shoulders above the rest! Their service continues long after you walk out the door with that new machine. Classes are regularly scheduled and EXCELLENT, and instructors are knowledgeable and eager to help students learn and get the most out of their experience. In addition, EVERY employe from the owner down, is kind, helpful, KNOWLEDGEABLE, and professional.

Nice little shop. I live a couple hours away and don't have many quilt shops near me so I stop whenever I'm in Wausau to shop. I'd like to see better lighting in the fabric area. The center aisles are poorly lit so finding the right colors is tough when your trying to coordinate with other fabrics. Also, every time I've gone, the room full of sewing machines for sale has nobody looking at them. I'd suggest focusing on a few good machines, fill that room with fabric and sell more fabric. Staff is always nice. Love their cash only discount.
