After initially contracting with a couple of different local Madison area siding companies and then having received less than stellar work from them, I was fortunate enough to be referred to Service Project Manager Dwight T. at Waunakee Remodeling. Dwight has a great deal of hands on expertise in the industry, and that hands on experience has translated well to his management/leadership role with Waunakee Remodeling. In addition to his valuable hands on industry experience, he is very personable and communicates exceptionally well. Not only does he take the time to analyze the root problem, but clearly explains and illustrates the issue(s) in non-technical terminology. He has great character and has gone above and beyond to make recommendations and has provided me services that have saved me a great deal of money. Additionally, the techs/installers have done quality work without any miscommunications or need for follow-up. I’m not going to lie, I have heard stories that may not always bode well for other divisions of Waunakee Remodeling (e.g. Kitchen, Bathroom remodels), but Dwight T. and their Siding Division is amazing. Good quality contractors can be hard to find. But I feel lucky to have found both quality techs/estimators you can truly trust! I’d highly recommend this company for all your siding needs! She answered all of our questions. It took about 8 weeks for our custom doors to be ordered and shipped. We scheduled the project for the week after they came in!Alex and Luis came and removed our existing doors and installed the new ones. They fixed our framing and did an outstanding job. They were extremely kind, hard working and finished in a day. They installed our new electronic lock that we purchased for us as well. “My crew was polite, professional and super competent. The job was done in the time frames quoted. When I placed the down payment (50%) the time frame for delivery from the factory to the local shop was 8 - 12 weeks. They arrived in 8 and we were notified. We were able to schedule the install the following week, which was faster than promised at purchase (2-3 weeks promised).The end result looks better than expected. The tidy craftsmanship is a large part of that. The quality of the product is better than expected. I am a repeat customer. The first time I bought their basic model, this time I went for the the 6000 series (triple pane/argon filled/low e) and I really like them. (The first purchase 5 years ago looks and works as they did when brand new) I also got 5 hopper windows for the basement. “We had a large picture window that needed replacing. WR helped us design a bay window. Not only were they extremely professional and competent, but they took a look at a sliding door that wasn't closing properly and fixed it on the spot. Another company said that sliding door would need to be replaced. Another company also quoted as at nearly twice the cost. I love my bay window. Why 4 stars? It did take several weeks before they were available to do the project, but that's ok. We will definitely use them again!“
