I've used this tax preparer for a few years now and have been satisfied with the service. This year, however, after 2 phone messages and a text left for Heidi, I've gotten no responses. Not good service for what I'm paying this year!
Update 2 weeks after our meeting (dropping from 5 stars to 2): I was initially told via email that there is no charge for the first appointment. However, two weeks after our meeting I received an invoice for $150. Would not have minded paying for it if they had been up front about the cost (cost seems fair), but disappointed by the surprise bill, lack of understanding in response, and the way billing was handled (no mention of it during the actual meeting).From 9/13: I met with Mr. Launder for a consultation regarding tax advice and thinking through investment options.
