Worst care I have ever received in my life. Went in with a sliced finger and sat for an hour waiting for care. After no one came, my husband and I just left so I could deal with it myself. No one brought me ibuprofen for the pain or anything even though they said they would. The nurses were like drones that just mindlessly took my vitals while I bled out all over the place and then disappeared. This place is a joke, you're better off on your own.

Recently moved here from Minneapolis. Every Dr I've seen here af Superior Essentia has been Top Notch. I had Allina on Minneapolis. Essentia is as professional. In fact, my Orthopedic,Drs Cardiologist and others are more personable and knowledgeable than Allina.

Worst experience of my entire life at Urgent Care and nurses and Nurse Practitioners have the WORST besides manner I have ever seen, EVER. A Nurse that was pissed because I couldn't keep my spasming leg straight and down for another blood pressure check as I was in severe pain. A nurse practitioner that didn't like my no answer to being asked if I was on drunks or if I drink not once, not twice but 3 times until I finally got snappy. I guess if you come in honest and it's thr truth and you aren't an addict they will treat you as such. Meanwhile the lady next to me that passes out from drinking, k2 and illicit drugs that she ADMITS to never was made to get up to walk a line. It's called PAIN idiots, severe pain. And because all my labs came back good they were going to send me home. Until I blurted out to my daughter I need an MRI if they do not do one and I end up paralyzed I will own this hospital. The nurse practitioner then comes in telling me they don't have an MRI machine but she is sending me to Duluth and ordered one. I get to Duluth, that was a lie...one was NOT ordered and I had to wait 6 more hours and see another Dr. In ER and start the entire process over before one would be ordered with my kids because the 4 hours there wasn't enough!! I had a ruptured Disc that busted and was a huge piece pushing into my spinal cord! My symptoms were consisted with Cuada Equina Syndrome, which is what Duluth suspected as well. What a joke!! Especially when I have never touched drugs in my life, I didn't even want to use all the pain meds I was given. Also told them I can't have ibuprofen as I have intestinal metaplasia and I also bleed very badly, was given it anyway and then I got my period and was soaking through overnight pads doubled up. This place would have killed me had I not been pissed and had enough of sitting there while someone else was actually being cared for that came in WELL AFTER me just because her fall injuries were visible. A big F U to this place. Also to BOTH hospitals there are HIPPA laws. I know the name of the lady that came in there and everything she had going on. I Know the name of the teen taken to the Amber Wing, I know the name and details of a women with a feeding tube. All stuff that should be private!!!!!!!

Very disappointed with the Nurses that respond to messages I sent to my doctor. Jerking me around is the norm.

Horrible providers, horrible clinic. They could not care less about your health. Take your chances driving to another hospital, trust me.

Service was good and not long waits and my needs were met.

I was scheduled months ago for a day surgery at Essentia Health in Superior. The day surgery was to be on December 13, 2023. About two weeks prior, I was with a friend that heard my conversation with Essentia Health. I talked to the department about my day surgery. I was informed I would be contacted by a nurse a week prior and will give me the time of my day surgery, and procedure before surgery and medications. I also had to arrange for transportation because I will not be able to drive.Well, that time has passed, so Monday morning December 11th, I called my pharmacy, no prescription waiting for pickup. I called the department at Essentia Health, the person that answered said, " Yeah, someone will call you sometime today." She told me what I wanted to hear, because it was about 3 p.m. Nobody contacted me. It's Tuesday now. December 12th. No new information what soever. If they finally called in my prescription,I will have to drive a half hour to Superior to pick it up, and another half hour back home. I have to inform my friends that put their plans aside to pick me up, that they canceled on me. Should I really call them again? Do I really want to have a day surgery with them if they are this unorganized? Should I just show up there on December 13th? I don’t even want to give one star for this experience. This statement is to justify this horrible frustrating experience. To top it off, I called the head of this department to inform him on the poor organizational skills in that department, and he hung up on me. His name is Jay F.

Had xray order from my othro surgeon in cities sent here to be takin. The lab tech immediately is grilling me upon walking in the room why I'm getting these and what's she thinks is needed. Treating me like I interrupted their day and created work they didn't want. Terrible experience.

Just say no to Covid shots!!

I came into the hospital today to take my daughter to see the doctor because at 7:15 p.m. she had gooey stuff green stuff coming out her eyes and they were pink. at 8:20 the essentia nurse call me from yesterday because my son had an ear infection I want to get a refill. she so happened to call to tell me that he needs to come in to be evaluated . At that what time I was. On the phone I told her about my daughter with the pink eye and she said we ca can get her in at 11:30 and your son in at 11:10 we got there at 10:55 they call my daughter first at 11:20 the nurse said that we'll let the other doctor know that the son is here and he can see them right after meanwhile doctor olga-ter grigoryan came at 11:35 walked in put on hand sanitizer instead oh you again I said yes my daughter has a pink eye and she looked and said oh she doesn't have a pink eye I might before you touch her can you put on some gloves she has this issue of wearing gloves one time I was getting the OBGYN check in with her and I had to tell her multiple times to put on gloves for safety reasons anyway she didn't ask my daughter what was going on how she's feeling no light in her eyes or anything she just said no she doesn't has a pink eye so I walk I told my daughter let's go she said are you leave because you said she doesn't have a pink eye so there's no purpose of us staying she said but I have to I want to check the ears and I'm like for what reason we came because she have a pink eye and she said to see if she need to see if anything else causing the pink eye I might but you just said she doesn't have a pink eye should I don't see any signs of pink eye so I told her should I did I supposed to leave the gooey stuff in her eyes from 7:50 to show proof and she said yes. She also told me if it comes back in the morning to send her to urgent care because she wasn't going to write a refill on her pink eye. This doctor it was not cost for her she told me that she already got paid for us waiting so it was no need for us we can go so I'm like you you basically just got paid for us waiting for you to say no she said yes I really hope this message get across so somebody can talk to her about her behavior because even though she's going to she went to school to get license just because she doesn't see it at that moment and she see some of it she didn't even like take time to look at her to say no it's ridiculous and I will leave that up to God with this situation but I just want this to be known that this doctor is careless when it comes to children
