Learning to drive a manual transmission can be pretty intimidating, especially at 19 years old and starting from scratch. John had me shifting a manual in under 20 minutes. He was extremely patient, explained everything in a way that made sense, and worked with me every step of the way.
John was the biggest reason I was able to pass my test on the first try. He worked with me on his brakes, helped me with anything I needed during class, and even stayed after class to give me extra practice. It wasn’t that I didn’t know what I was doing, but that extra practice made a huge difference in my confidence and preparation for the test.
Thanks to John and Diesel Driving School, I passed my CDL Class A test on my first attempt and earned my Class A CDL with a non-automatic restriction. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor, and I’m extremely thankful for all the time and effort John put into helping me succeed.
