Best Veterinary experience. I have taken all of my guinea pigs here over the past few years and the hospital as whole is fantastic. Heather Bixler is the best exotics vet to take your critters to. She is very knowledgeable, compassionate, and caring.
Anytime I have an appointment she brings in a towel and sits on the floor. She makes certain that your pets are safe and will never put a small critter on the table because of jumping hazard. She sits with the guinea pigs one at a time wrapped in the towel so they feel safe and goes through her physical exam, making sure to tell you what she’s going over. She is very thorough and great at explaining everything
Previously, when I’ve had to put my guinea pigs down, she is very gentle at going through options and making sure to listen to how I felt or what questions I had.
Going to the vet can be stressful for you and your pets but choosing Sheboygan Animal Hospital makes it feel like a relief, not a chore.

Sheboygan Animal Hospital has been our vet for 10+ years. The staff is helpful, understanding and efficient. When there's immediate need they make every effort to get us in as soon as possible that day. Dr. Travis is highly knowledgeable in the field of small and exotic animal veterinary care. I trust him with all of our animals' health needs.

Always happy with the service provided by the Dr and the staff. They make sure to address any concerns regarding my dog. Also,they saw my previous dog under urgent conditions when she developed a deadly condition, and I'll always be grateful.

Our Cavapoo Alphie at Sheboygan Animal Hospital met the new vet and she did well with him. An exam and updated shots were accomplished. We got advice to change flea and tick and heartworm meds when he refused Nexguard. Advice to change dog food to diet brand as he gained 2 pounds since last year. A fresh stool sample is still needed and will be brought in soon.
