“My 91 year old alert father needed rehab for a short period and we chose The Pines. We visited often as we are an over protective, hovering family and found the staff to be very professional and friendly. They saw to his needs and answered his call light promptly. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Best of all, the facility did not have any bad odors which many long term care facilities have. The food looked appealing and according to our father was delicious. He participated in therapies and has been able to meet his goal of returning home. When I told him he was leaving, dad shared with me that he felt well cared for and that he was a priority to the staff. He acknowledged while it is not home, he would return if he ever needed care again. Thank you to the staff at The Pines on helping dad reach his goals of returning home.“

“The Front desk staff are all amazing and polite when i walk in and very helpful. The nurse that led me back to the exam room was very polite and nice and non judging which is huge to me. I do not like when I can read their face or body language and tell they think I'm just another fat louse that won't listen anyways! I did not get that feeling once at this office. Dr. Fang is an amazing doctor that is helping me on my route to living happy with my family again by actually looking into my illness and blood work and not guessing and also by ACTIVE LISTENING. The lab tech that took all or most of my blood. She was a trooper when I told her that my veins are not easy to find or hit. She asked permission to attempt at veins on my arm instead of assuming I am okay with her just sticking away. She was very kind and gentle with that needle I barely felt it. Thank you to the whole Shawano Team for being in my community and Rocking your jobs to the max!“
