While some customers have had amazing experiences with vets like Dr. Justin and Dr. Doug, who they describe as caring and competent, others have had more negative encounters with the staff. Some clients have reported that the front desk staff can be abrasive and rude, with long wait times and a lack of attentiveness. However, the veterinarians are generally praised for their expertise, their willingness to listen to their clients, and their commitment to providing high-quality care without unnecessary tests or overcharging. Overall, the clinic seems to offer a mixed bag of experiences, with the quality of care and service varying depending on the individual staff members encountered.
Harris Pet Hospital has some awesome vets. Dr Doug and Dr Hatcher saved my dog. She'd been vomiting for 1/2 the day then it got bloody. I was grateful they were able to get her in within 2 hours of my call. I had to go to work, so my daughter brought my dog in. Dr Doug called me at work and explained there was a blockage and what my options were and what he recommended. Dr Hatcher was ending her shift, but offered to stay for the surgery. Essentially, we had 2 amazing vets working on my dog. I received several follow up calls and they promptly returned my calls when I had questions. I could tell by their voices on the phone, that both doctors truly cared about my fur child. Thank you Dr Doug & Dr Hatcher!
So refreshing to have veterinarians that actually listen to you and truly care for your pets. They do not overcharge or recommend x-rays or tests that are unnecessary. Highly recommend! These are the good guys!
When Doctor Harris started this clinic, I felt he was always fair and only did what your animal needed to keep the owners' cost to a minimum, knowing many families that own pets can't afford high vet bills! When the two doctors bought Harris out, they kept that principle, and pet owners continued going and telling others, and the clinic kept growing hiring new doctors to the point they had forgotten why and how they became popular. These new vets have brought to the clinic ways to bump the prices, having customers pay for procedures their pet doesn't need to pump up their own pay checks. Then you have some great vet techs that have left because of this practice. Your clinic has been great for many years! please get it under control!!
