I've known the owner for 20 years, although I haven't been involved recently. He's consistently been driven, focused, and serious about his craft. That mindset shows in the atmosphere he creates at his gym.

Finally sharing a review after a little over 6 months of being a member. I am middle aged (50+), female, and brand new to strength training and love this gym. You can feel comfortable, encouraged, challenged, and at home at this gym. There is space to learn, to make mistakes, and to grow. Just go. If you are also of the demographics mentioned above and looking for a trainer who can start you off from the beginning with knowledge, experience, and care, I recommend Garrett Ryan. If you are looking for a gym that you will feel home at, look no further! Amazing vibes, awesome machines, and just all around great feeling! I've been at River City Ironworx for 5 months and of all the gyms I've been apart of since I was 18 this is by fair the best! Come and check it out!
