Auction customer : They post only the most favorable photos. I purchased an antique Railroad Lantern that avoided the enormous rusted out section in their seller photos. I contacted the auctioneer but received no response. Buyer beware, They do not seem very concerned about their reputation.

I am extremely disappointed with this auction company. I have been following their auctions for the past few months and finally decided to pull the trigger and purchase some items. I purchased a total of 3 items. What upsets me is their lack of pictures showing all sides of an item. It's blatantly obvious that if an item has a large crack, the person taking the pictures would have included that picture in the picture lineup. This is so unethical to keep this information from the buyer. In addition, another item had absolutely no description about the item up for auction. Again, that item had obvious damage that wasn't provided in the item description field nor in any picture.I am not sure if this was laziness or ignorance on the part of the person working for the auction company in order to command a higher price by not showing or providing all the information about an item. Going forward. I am going to have a hard time trusting making another purchase from Gavin Brothers Auctions. Buyer Beware
