Terrible terrible experience! Every time we called, they said they would look into it and a call us back… never received a call back.(over 10 situations). The obituary took over two weeks and multiple drafts with errors before it was posted. The death certificate was produced, but not shared with the family. When I went to the courthouse to get my own copies I found the name was incorrect, very upsetting. Again, no apologies no concern on their part. The family was due a refund but we had to continually call to request the refund, now it is seven weeks after death still no refund no concern on their part. They never answer the phones. I have been trying to get a document for over 9 months now which just has to be emailed to me which they have my email address but they can’t even be kind enough to do that. Lost all hope in them and would never recommend anyone to use them. Very disappointed. Bad enough to lose my MIL but now to not even get her documents after her passing.
Prior to passing my wifes grandmother had worked with Mr. Melby making all the arangments for services, stone marker, and burial. At the time all expenses were paid in full, and a rare cut of stone was selected .The entire service just felt like it was extreamly rushed, and and cold. And here it is 3 years later and the stone is still not made or placed, not even the concrete footer has beed poured. Multipule family members have reached out and are meet with lies, and false promises as to when they will be finally getting the stone and placing it. Finally i called another memoral company and learned that even the most select rare cut stone is 6 months at the very longest...read full review
