If your beloved pet gets a diagnosis from a regular veterinary doctor regarding Eye care, and you're not in agreement, please reach out to Eye Care for Animals in Pewaulkee, Wi. and get a 2nd opinion. We were told by my daughters vet, that her beloved dog had a 99% chance of having Melanoma in his eye. The only way to test it was to remove his eye and have it looked at, thus loosing his eye. I can't thank Dr. Gunderson enough for her expertise and gentle exam giving us the correct diagnosis. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable as well. I was able to get an appointment in a reasonable time.
Was very pleased with this place. They treated me and my greyhound with the utmost respect. Dr. Gunderson played with my hound a bit before the exam, so she was not nervous at all. I definitely recommend Eye Care for Animals!
I've been taking our dog Baxter to Dr. Gunderson for 2 years and the experience has been absolutely wonderful. The staff is very friendly, and are always willing to help even when we are out of town with our dogs and something comes up - whether it's a prescription, or a change in health. As much as I wish we didn't have these eye issues with our poor boy I'm glad there is such a great team to treat him.
