If your beloved pet gets a diagnosis from a regular veterinary doctor regarding Eye care, and you're not in agreement, please reach out to Eye Care for Animals in Pewaulkee, Wi. and get a 2nd opinion. We were told by my daughters vet, that her beloved dog had a 99% chance of having Melanoma in his eye. The only way to test it was to remove his eye and have it looked at, thus loosing his eye. I can't thank Dr. Gunderson enough for her expertise and gentle exam giving us the correct diagnosis. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable as well. I was able to get an appointment in a reasonable time.
Was very pleased with this place. They treated me and my greyhound with the utmost respect. Dr. Gunderson played with my hound a bit before the exam, so she was not nervous at all. I definitely recommend Eye Care for Animals!
The care that my dog receives at Eye Care for Animals in Pewaukee is excellent. The doctor and her entire staff are very knowledgeable and do a great job of explaining their findings and answering questions completely and in a way that is totally understandable.
