I hired MM a few years ago and was happy with the services but discontinued for some remodeling work. I hired again in fall of 2024 and have seen services and management steadily decline. The first crew was excellent and finished my list each visit with no complaints. The same list in 2024 never got finished. I was told rates increased so not enough time. Which I respected. I removed the larger time consuming tasks and expected the remaining would be done, but they weren’t. Then was told the first couple cleaning’s would take longer until they were up to speed and on a schedule. Again I overlooked. I even reordered the tasks to get some done but it seems that they preferred easier tasks. I pre-cleaned. Clearing counters and picked up anything on floor so they could spend time efficiently. Granite and stainless steel are not their specialties. Also found that things I felt were common sense weren’t done with new crew unless on list but were previously. Example wiping kitchen table when cleaning kitchen. In 2025 the visits became shorter and shorter. I was told they had 3 people rather than 2. I could only verify 1 occurrence of this. Again I overlooked. After a total of 5 cancellations and rescheduling and I began questioning reliability. Recently showed up an hour late doing half the job and leaving. Seems to be understaffing as well as poor training and management. Had Wendy spent 10 minutes coming to my house to visit rather than spending it writing a text with assumptions and not facts we could have resolved. Instead she chose to burn bridges. I would NOT RECOMMEND

I really wanted to like this business and I gave many chances to make this work. The cleaners don’t show up, the owner can’t retain employees. And most disappointing, the owner NEVER wanted to accept feedback. Three separate times I mentioned areas of the cleanings that I did not think were acceptable - beds were left unmade, entire rooms were skipped, and I was charged the same amount of money when one or two cleaners showed up instead of the scheduled number. The owner brushed me off every time. Check your local FB groups for local cleaners who are enthusiastic and want to have you as a customer. Wendy certainly doesn’t care if you are a customer or not
UPDATE: In response to the owner - you are still not taking responsibility for the quality of your staff and services. No matter the feedback, the poor quality was always my fault. You charged me the same amount for fewer people, fewer hours, AND SHE DIDN"T FINISH THE WORK YOU QUOTED. YOUR employee showed up late, one of YOUR employees did not show up at all. Have you heard of trying to be respectful? Should I have mentioned that she rushed through everything? Or suggest that she did her best given the circumstances? Get over yourself. Take responsibility for your business. There are a million other home cleaning services who care about their customers and providing a quality service.

Very disappointed. The price was high & the quality of the cleaning was bad. Several areas were not done at all, and the ones that were done were mediocre at best (food crumbs still on the floor, dust “bunnies”, etc.). We were then charged for a significantly longer time than they were actually here.Services: Standard cleaning

I'm am from out of the Oshkosh area and needed someone to perform a one time, deep clean of a one bed/one bath apartment. The owner, Wendy, worked us into the schedule on very short notice and, even though they were pressed for time, were able to exceed our expectations for the job. The bathroom and kitchen areas look great. They also cleaned the air/heating vents. The stove had baked on grease that they were able to clean. I spent over an hour trying to do that myself and got nowhere. This place was really dirty and now it is probably as clean as it has been in several years. Thank you Merry Maids!Service: Deep clean

Disappointing, dissatisfied, multiple things missed. Doesn’t seem like they care about actually cleaning everything even though they charge 100 plus per hour. They offered a redo, I’d just like them to refund some of my 550$ and pay me basically to clean what I paid them to clean.

We use Merry Maids to clean a family cabin every month. This makes it a lot easier for our family - no one can "blame" or "expect" another family member for not cleaning (or cleaning). Very fair pricing. We will continue to use them on a monthly basis.Service: Standard cleaning

I had a one-time cleaning of my basement done, because I had it waterproofed. They had to jackhammer concrete down there and re-concrete it.That real fine concrete dust everywhere, plus the preexisting dirt and cobwebs that come with an unfinished basement. The workers were efficient as well as thorough. Floors, rafters, stored items etc. all got cleaned! I will for sure use them again!

I have this team come every two weeks and they do a fantastic job. Always letting me know when they will be coming, far in advance, and have no problem working, even when I am home. Can always tell after they have been there.
