She is SO intuitive! I went to see Carla after having a dry needle appointment at another PT and my pain got worse! I had been getting dry needled for a few years and it would release the tension and I could resume to routine after a few sessions, but sadly, I knew there had to be something more going on that wasn't being addressed. As I talked she listened and was able to assess and diagnose the problem and got to work right away. After four sessions I had about 80% relief, with two more to follow that put me in a much more tolerable state of functioning. She truly listens to the symptoms described and can view/feel what needs to be addressed.

I had been to a variety of doctors for the last two years and a variety of physical therapists. The doctors told me there was nothing wrong with my back on MRI or CT. The therapists helped me temporarily with the issues at hand, but recently, I developed a sudden onset of extreme pain in my lower back and numbness in my lower legs with nothing showing on the CT scan. Carla did a thorough exam and found several areas where I needed some work. The dry needling, a variety of mobilizations and other techniques allowed me to tolerate standing and walking much better. Carla was so great to work with! I was able to share the different issues I was experiencing, and she not only did a full body evaluation but was able to determine other things going on as well. She is so detailed in her work and approach, and I trusted her to pinpoint the issue. I learned so much about myself and after 4 visits with her I am not experiencing the pain I was post workout anymore which is amazing. I highly recommend Carla for your PT needs!
