In summary we changed Zak from a franchise daycare (central bark) due to bad service and behavior changes in Zak…… I can tell bay view bark cares as they made sure to give me a virtual tour of the facility with the option to attend an open house, they made sure they over communicated with me to assure me all the care and training pups get before I enrolled Zak…... And since the switch I can see a drastic change in Zak’s behavior. He is much more brave, confident, and at ease when home. Zak is given his treats, lots of love, and lunch packed by us daily. “I’ve been bringing my Ace to Central Bark for a few months now, and we are both loving it! He gets so excited when we pull into the lot and he realizes he’s at “school”. He loves daycare and the staff, which is a big plus for me as it can be a little nerve-racking leaving your fur baby in the hands of others, but the staff here are absolutely wonderful, and he always comes home completely exhausted so I fully trust that he is getting the best care here. I really do appreciate how kind and welcoming the staff is, and how sweet they are to my boy!

I also really like the retail space here, and the services they offer. I’ve been able to get Ace’s nails trimmed here a few times before pickup which I really appreciate- and they’re the only ones who have been able to do it without him getting nervous!

“My wife and I adopted a pup not fully realizing what we were getting ourselves into. A very smart, high-energy breed. In the first couple weeks it was clear that we were not on his wavelength, and we needed help establishing a “common language” so that we could communicate our expectations, and he would respond in a predictable way. We opted to enroll him in the 3-week board and train program with Canine Coach & Wellness. We came in weekly to see what he was being taught, how he was coming along and to “lay eyes on him” and express any concerns (we had none, he was always healthy and clearly progressing in his training). When we got him back, he was a new dog! He walks well on his leash, responds to our commands and our relationship with him is MUCH better. Of course, he’s still a puppy and his training is an ongoing process, but we have the tools we need. Specifically, we know what tools are available to us and how to use them. We have ongoing support from Dennis and his team (Kylie has been awesome!). We have started bringing our pup in for daycare twice a week, and they continue his training. When we have issues, I just ask and they provide on the spot guidance and demonstrate it for us. Most recently, I expressed concern about his failure to appropriately heel when commanded, especially in environments with a lot of distractions. Dennis showed me what to do, and literally in about 2 minutes he had ME trained and my pup fell in line. These guys truly love dogs, and they are patient with me as a dog owner. In my first conversation with Dennis he said, “I do this because I don’t want you to be hesitant to bring your dog with you when you go places. You should want to bring your dog with you when you buy dog food!” That focus on the dog’s wellbeing, coupled with his and his team’s patience with me is why I recommend Canine Coach & Wellness to you. You won’t regret it!“

“We LOVED Basic Elementary class with Julia! Our little Dolly Barkton isn’t always the model student, but Julia had great suggestions and demonstrations for us. We will be working hard on these skills so we feel ready in the future to come back for the second level of training. I highly recommend going here for classes, we felt so well taken care of. “I love this place! They are all so kind here the groomers and the employees! My dog is jumpy and I'm trying to work with him and they never once make me feel bad for it! They are great there and I will go there for life!! So happy with this place! I recommend the groomers they are lovely!! Also very very educated my dog has the kind of coat to where you don't get him cut and I didn't know that and they informed me of that and also helped me with his ears!!!“
