We had been bringing our dogs to this animal hospital for quite some time and trusted them with their care. That trust was completely broken.
My dog started limping and was clearly in pain. We were told it was “just arthritis.” Over Christmas, while they were closed, she continued to suffer. When we reached out asking for additional pain medication to help her through it, we were told it would take a full day to fill despite knowing she had already been in pain and that access to care was extremely limited due to the holiday.
Something didn’t feel right, so we made the decision to switch animal hospitals.
Come to find out, it was never arthritis. It was bone cancer.
The misdiagnosis, the lack of urgency, and the dismissive approach to a dog who was clearly suffering is beyond upsetting. My dog was in pain far longer than she ever should have been because this office failed to properly evaluate her condition.
This wasn’t a minor oversight. This was a serious medical failure. The incompetence here caused unnecessary suffering to a dog who depended on professionals to advocate for her when she couldn’t advocate for herself.
If you care about your pet and want thorough, attentive, and competent care, think very carefully before trusting this practice. We will never return

Only seems to be about the money, established customer but haven’t been seen in a year and a half, but due to that I have to be seen as an emergency visit just to double the cost what a bunch of crap. Very unprofessional and talk about feeling unimportant to the veterinary’s clinic

Dr. Zimmerman & staff were the best to my cat. Dr. Zimmerman stayed after hours to care and tend my sick cat and was above and beyond with the service they provide.

What a wonderful animal hospital! The staff couldn’t have been kinder or more welcoming. They made time today to see my cat in an emergency even though he wasn’t yet a patient — but he definitely is now. I’m so grateful for their compassion and care.
