I found this vet because I needed assistance on a Saturday morning for a paw injury. The person I spoke to was calm, informative, and offered great suggestions. I was able to book an appointment that Monday for an exam.
Upon arrival, the service only got better. Due to a tight entrance and many dogs, the staff was guiding and directing clients to avoid any negative interactions. Reception knew who I was before I could check in, and within a minute or two we were being taken to the exam room.
My Aussie has high reactivity and both the vet and tech took their time with her, allowing her to come to them. This only took a minute or two but it made all the difference. The vet explained the procedure and what would take place. I couldn't have asked for more compassion and understanding.
A few days later they called to make sure everything was going well, and if I had any questions. It has been a long time since that has happened. I will definitely be back for regular checkups.

Every time we go to Countryside we are reminded why we pick this clinic as our go to vet. We have had nothing but excellent care and they have helped us in several emergency situations with our animals. If you live in the area, I would absolutely use Countryside. All of the staff are so kind and helpful and make you feel really comfortable. It is very clear they all care about your animals!

Have a skittish cat, Dr. Rachel was great with her. She was able to pick my cat up & carry her to another room for tests & my cat didn’t even squirm. Clean facility with friendly staff. Large waiting room so you can sit far away from large dogs.

I called to ask for advice and information about the USDA cert for travel. The staff were friendly and absolutely wonderful. If we lived closer, we would definitely be regular visitors/patients. I highly recommend this clinic! Thank you again for everything!

We have been bringing our dogs to Countryside for a few years now and more recently, our new cats as well. I am always really impressed with the care they provide, professionalism of all the staff and their focus on the best interest of our pets. I feel fortunate to have them in our community.

I’ve used countryside for years and never had any complaints until yesterday, I went in right as they opened for my dog who was not doing well and in a lot of distress.. I was told they’re was nothing they could do and didn’t seem like they cared at all, I understand needing an appointment which I was willing to pay extra for an emergency service but was told there was just nothing they could do .. ended up driving to an hour to the emergency vet where my dog ended up passing away. I just think if we have a vet in town I don’t understand why when we need them the most we were turned away, or not even offered any advice just plain sorry no appointments nothing we can do , it’s just disheartening when an animal is in pain as a vet how could you not want to help.

Countryside is the absolute best vet clinic!! I would recommend to anyone looking for a new vet. Even when we lived out of state, we used to drive our dog back to Countryside for her appointments because we could not find a vet that rivaled their service and expertise. Their entire team goes above and beyond for their patients. Our dog saw Dr. Smith, who is an incredible vet— so patient, kind, and responsive. Countryside has always been willing to answer questions over the phone and has treated our dog Luna with exceptional care, while always explaining all of our options and leaning toward conservative treatment plans. We have now moved too far away for Countryside to be our regular vet and we miss their team! If you are looking for a new care team for your animals, this should be where you go!

We are new to Wisconsin and not used to dealing with ticks. We called and asked if we could bring our dog in for an opinion if he had a tick or not they were very willing to help and helped educate us on what to look for!
