A decent value course with less people traffic than the Dells or other area courses. Mature and pretty easy play overall. Went after some rain and had some standing water. Used most of a bottle of bug spray, but survived. Will return.
Only thing keeping it from a 5 is a ranger and bev cart, we were 50 minutes behind place on 9. However, staff is great, course is well maintained and fun holes. Fair price. I'll be back
During a Florida to Canada road trip I was in Wisconsin for the first time, ahead of schedule, and wanted to play 9 holes. After being turned away at one public golf course I called Castle Rock. From the first interaction to the last, everyone I encountered was excessively friendly and helpful. 45 minutes later I arrived and rented a set of clubs, and was told the large group by the first tee knew I would be a single walking and would wait. The next two hours were glorious! Course was in great shape, greens quick and smooth. Very affordable! Highly recommend especially due to the friendly people.
