I have only been to Great Lakes Veterinary Clinic a few times over the years for specific OFA exrays. This particular dog is very anxious at the Vets office, which I made them aware of before hand. The entire staff and Dr. Randy made the visit a much stressful experience by suggesting sedation for the films. It was very quick, he got very nice exrays and my dog did not have to experience a negative experience or stay there for the entire afternoon. I was able to take him home within 30 mins. If I lived closer I would definitely choose Great Lakes for my primary vet needs.
I went here for the first time today and it was a truely amazing experience.I had 2 cats with me, and they treated them with great care and respect when providing the check up, labs and shots. Friendly with me as well. They were highly knowledgable, providing recommendatiosn/suggestions on a variety of subjects for the cats. I was not rushed. They answered and throughly explained everything to me. I will be continuing to come here and recommending for others.

I was blown away by the wonderful staff at Great Lakes. My previous vet had been dropping the ball for a year so I decided to give Great Lakes a shot. Everyone I met there was kind and empathetic. They listened to not just my concerns for my cat, but also to how upset I was about how neglectful my previous vet clinic had been. Kara and Lori were very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Jeff and CVT Marisa paid attention to everything that was going on with my cat and provided actual answers and a treatment plan. My cat has never been so calm at the vet than when he was in the room with Marisa. I feel confident my pets are in good hands and will be a repeat customer.
