Minorik Mitigation

After losing everything in a house fire, we were left feeling overwhelmed and heartbroken, unsure of where to even begin. That’s when Joe and his team at Minorik Mitigation stepped in—and truly changed the trajectory of our experience. From start to finish, they brought not only expertise and professionalism, but also compassion and hope. We can confidently say they were an answer to prayer.

Our home in Racine, WI required extensive fire mitigation work. From our first interaction, Joe displayed a level of professionalism, empathy, and expertise that instantly set us at ease. Fire mitigation is not just about cleaning up debris—it's about ensuring the site is properly assessed, hazards are identified and addressed, and the environment is stabilized so rebuilding can happen safely and efficiently. Minorik Mitigation handled every part of that process with precision and care.

Joe and his crew took the time to carefully assess the site, walk us through the plan, and explain what needed to happen to safely clear and prepare the property. Their knowledge of fire damage, hazardous material handling, and environmental safety was evident from day one. What really stood out was their use of proper commercial-grade equipment to address not just the visible damage, but the lingering effects of the fire. They used high-powered water extraction systems and industrial-grade air scrubbers, ozone machines, and dehumidifiers to remove water left behind by fire suppression efforts, and to eliminate persistent smoke odor from the structure and surrounding materials. Their odor control process went far beyond masking smells—it fully neutralized them, making a massive difference in air quality and safety.

Every part of the cleanup was done with precision, care, and full transparency. Joe worked closely with our insurance adjuster and was incredibly organized, providing reports and documentation that kept the project moving forward without delays.

In the middle of what could have been the most stressful and drawn-out time in our lives, Joe and his team made things manageable. They didn’t just clear the site—they helped clear a path forward for our family. Thanks to Minorik Mitigation, our property is now safe, clean, and fully prepared for the rebuilding process.

If you’re dealing with the aftermath of a fire, we can’t recommend Minorik Mitigation highly enough. They are thorough, reliable, and genuinely care about the people they’re helping.

Thank you! They went above and beyond to respond to our need in a timely manner, we tore down a cieling in a home we just purchased and discovered mold, we had small window of time before our dry wall was set to be installed, they came after hours to get the job done, as someone who suffered multiple health issues related to previous mold exposure and not having proper remediation in a rental, their knowledge and process of removing mold not just covering it up, we are excited to move into our home now!
