“This was my first tattoo and I was VERY nervous. Nate, the owner, was absolutely amazing. Very informative, answered all my questions with confidence, with lots of reassurance. When it came to the tattoo itself, I trusted him completely with placement, size, etc. I originally wanted something on my hip or breast area and he advised me that it would not be a good idea for a first tattoo due to unknown pain tolerance level. He was looking out for his client and not his pocket! Highly HIGHLY recommend Nate or I’m sure anyone at mind floss. Facility was very clean and he did my sisters tattoo before mine and sanitized everything and replaced items that needed to be replaced prior to my tattoo. Overall, my experience was a 200/200. I drove all the way from Stevens point to see him too, because people speak of this place/him up here. I will be returning and very excited for our next project together!!“

“I've had nothing but great experiences here. When a place stocks my favorite candy every time I visit, it's like they've figured out the shortcut to my heart! Seriously, candy equals happiness.

My tattoo artist is always super nice and totally cool with my changes. I’m not much of a chatterbox when getting tattooed, so I prefer to throw on some headphones and zone out from the pain. My artist is cool with that, which is awesome. I’m like a statue in that chair – I don't move and I power through the pain. My tattoos always heal wonderfully, and I leave happy every time.

Ill continue to go back to Lost Lakes. Ive had VERY terrible experiences getting tattooed at other places. I highly recommend them to anyone that wants a high quality tattoo, in a chill atmosphere (and good prices).“

“AMAZING! My partner and I recently went to get matching tattoos and Dave really brought our vision alive. We sent him a picture of our cat's forehead and asked him to draw up a design that would like fire by our shoulder blade and he did NOT disappoint. They took about 40 mins and the pricing was reasonable for the work he was able to do! If I ever wanted another tattoo in Madison I would certainly go back here.“

“I've had piercings done here before so I came back for another a few months back. The stud used was too small and prevented my ear from healing. My ear kept crusting up and refused to heal, over 3 months later it was still irritated so I decided to change the earrings out for earrings I have at home. They healed in less than a week after I changed them out. Not sure if it's one size fits all but the earrings were definitely too small for my hole to heal properly. I do like the piercer. Just a little bummed because my ear has been slightly irritated for awhile. I should have just came in to have it addressed but I didn't have time.“
