Our dog encountered a porcupine and received about 50 quills on this nose and lips. Our usual vet in the Eagle River location was not available and suggested we contact the Minocqua office. They worked us in that afternoon and did a superb job removing the quills. Even did a mani/pedi while Teddy was out. We were very happy with the speed with which we were accommodated, the empathy that was exhibited, and the reasonable fee that we paid.

We are not normally seen by Northwoods vets, but my 2 boxers decided that it was a great time to find a porcupine when my vet was closed. I called Northwoods, they got us in immediately, took excellent care of my animals, all the staff was professional and compassionate. If I didn’t live almost 45 minutes away, I would change to use them as my normal vets. Thank you Northwoods Vets

I have been going to Northwoods hospital for about 35 years. I have always received excellent care for my pet children. Peanuts, Buzzy, Nicky, Otto, Bear and Ozzy. Most recently working with Dr. Dave to monitor Bear who is taking seizure medications for several years. He is now 14 years old and doing very well. Our dog became sick while we were vacationing in the area. Northwoods Animal Hospital was able to fit in her on a very short notice and administer needed medication. The staff was friendly caring, and helpful. She was much better within 24 hrs of the visit. We are very grateful for the services they provided. Highly recommended them!

Very knowledgeable and courteous staff. Jan, the groomer is very skilled and personable .She is an excellent groomer and really treats our Miniature Schnauzer like she is her own. We are very satisfied with Northwoods Animal Hospital.

Great care! I have a rescue that hates other animals and is very selective with people. I was hesitant how everything would go but Rupert did great and loved the staff. They were very kind and caring and Dr. Brian is the best. Will continue to travel the hour to go there. Very reasonably priced compared to other vets I've been to!
