If I could leave more than 5 stars I absolutely would. Jon is excellent. I've had several tattoos done (age 74 NO PROBLEM) and he does a wonderful job. It is a pleasant experience. He is a really interesting guy and does great work! I'm leaving photos of 2 of my tattoos (so excellent). I'll write again when he has finished the next one. He is a brilliant artist, takes the time to listen to what you are trying to achieve and the end result is always great!
I grew up in Wisconsin. When I lived there, I got all of my tattoos from Jon at Solid State. Now I live in Nashville and I schedule my tattoo appointments around trips home to Milwaukee because I ONLY want to get tattoos from Jon at Solid State. He's a master, he's kind and I enjoy his company a great deal. The shop is beautiful and comfortable. I am a customer for life. You should be too.
Jon is INCREDIBLE. He does such a great job at understanding what you want even if you can't explain it yourself. He's done 7 tattoos for me and I will keep coming back. My husband and I
moved from Milwaukee to Nashville a few years ago and we still come back to Milwaukee to get tattooed by Jon. I've had so many people compliment my tattoos in Nashville and when they ask where I got them they're always disappointed that he's not in the area. He's also super efficient, which is a huge bonus too!
