The main passenger rail station and bus terminal for Milwaukee, located a short walk from many other key Cream City downtown locations and steps from its free tramway, this facility is a model for US cities large and small to ease and encourage use of intercity public transportation.

They stored my bag for free - not sure if that’s every case. Kinda sketchy with random people walking through but if you keep to yourself you’re fine. I needed the AC after a brutal humid day before taking the train to Minneapolis. Only drawback was the cafe worker wanted me to buy something else instead of pizza and I left.

Aside from Amtrak and Greyhound, they also have Coach USA buses to Chicago O’Hare and a few places in between. Unfortunately though, there are a few homeless people that hang around asking for money and you can smell pee outside, probably more so during the late night/early morning hours, so if you’re catching a bus for example at 4am, you might not want to be alone.
