This is my first purchase with Holland and bulb. I'm generally happy. However, it did take a solid 3 weeks to get my order. And out of 50 tulips I would say about 5 look rotten. This is my first time buying bulbs so I'm not sure if that's a good ratio or not.
Update: Despite many of the bulbs arriving moldy, I was pleasantly surprised this spring that the majority of them bloomed. They were quite beautiful and there was a wide range of colors and types of tulips. They ended up definitely worth the discounted value bag price. None of the anemones grew at all but maybe that was my climate (zone 6b) or they are just trickier to grow? I still find their customer service to be sub-par and frustrating.
Ordered 50 tulips on clearance and 25 anemones. Over half the tulips arrived either covered in mold or mushy/rotten. They sent me 23 anemones. Wrote customer service and sent these photos and they wrote me back days later telling...read full review
I discovered Holland Bulb Farms a little over a year ago. I was looking for hostas and the prices were amazing. Every time I ordered the roots came in beautiful shape and most even had leaves on them. They all did great when planted. The selection is great and I will be ordering more in 2026!
