I have been throwing around the idea of getting more ink for a while, hand-wringing over who to go to. I finally settled on Good Land based on friends recommendations. My guy was Ryan Friedel. I'm SOOOO happy with his work. Crisp lines, and really fantastic shading. I have to go back next week for more work, and plan on giving Ryan (or Ben/Mark) my business for years to come.
Got a tattoo from Ben yesterday. Clean shop and the guys are friendly. Lots of flash to choose from, but I did my own script tattoo. Ben was easy to talk to and has a good sense of humor, which is always a good quality in a tattoo artist, but most importantly the tattoo came out clean and with sharp lines. Great experience overall.
I saw Ryan and had a very positive experience! My tattoo turned out amazing - and he was so attentive to details. He thought about things with the placement that I had not considered and because of that it looks a lot nicer than it otherwise would have. He also did some cool shading that I never would have thought of as I'm not artistic. And it was SO reasonable. My first tattoo was ridiculously priced, but in Hawaii. The 2nd was pretty pricey though too. This one was MUCH more budget friendly and VERY high quality! Highly recommend - I'm already talking with him about my next one!
