A wonderful gem of a gym. In the basement of a grand building, but bright, colorful, sparkling clean, and inspiring. A gym with soul.I am staying in Milwaukee for a month, and have been going to FitPro for a few weeks. There is something about Nick, the owner, that seems to attract good folks. Every time I’ve gone, I’ve met the most knowledgeable, generous, centered people. There is a lot of fighting equipment and space (boxing ring, punching bags, etc). I’ll start by saying, this is my first time working with a personal trainer (outside of my employer’s fitness room that closed when the pandemic began). I recognized a while ago that it’s super easy to join a gym but I needed someone that was going to help hold me accountable. Big box gyms always stuck me as being more about socializing and less about attaining wellness goals and I’ll be honest, I was always self conscience about my presence in the gym.
