My favorite place! I've tried most gyms in the Milwaukee area/ suburbs, but WAC is my Gym-home. It offers a variety of excellent classes, included with the membership as well as additional awesome advanced series for a fee.
Instructors and music are great, outdoor pool opens early in the season and closes late. Schedule fits just right. If it doesn't, members hint for adjustments and most of the times scheduling has been changed to fit most working members schedule. What more can we ask for?
Friendly staff, equipment and building kept in good order. Lots of equipment including squat racks and deadlift platforms. Three pools. Tons of classes. Typical busy times and seasons.
Nice place but would love to see later hours. Gym closing at 6pm on weekend nights is way too early. Plus the pool and sauna close 30 minutes earlier than the posted times. Would also be nice if the sauna was monitored more for people wearing dirty gym shoes, bringing phones, etc - they post policies but don’t enforce them.
