I don't know what's happened to this Dental Clinic, but it's operating like a business struggling to stay afloat.
We have been going for 40+ years and it always had that 'family' feeling. Each time a dentist retired, a new equally as nice would replace them.
I'm supposed to be on quarterly cleanings, and in Oct of 2025 were told my next appointment would be Aug 2026. There was no concern by the individual and was told matter of factly it was then or later!! I was also informed our insurance was no longer accepted.
Recently, I was seen for a minor emergency and really must question the competency of the Dr. I saw. She was confrontational and wanted to begin a complete crown procedure when I only needed a temporary crown replaced. She ended up doing nothing, but charged an exam fee.
I would certainly not recommend her.
Some of the new dentist seem quite competent, but are almost impossible to get appointments.
The whole atmosphere has changed since the retirement of many of the original dentists and hygienists. It may be time to look elsewhere.

Our experiences at dental clinic of Marshfield have been going downhill for years, but unfortunately, our insurance doesn’t give us another full coverage option in mfld so we kept returning despite the subpar care, poor costumer service and dingy environment. Until this week. From now on we will drive to another town or pay out-of-pocket somewhere else.
We had such a terrible, bizarre, scary unacceptable experience we will never go back to that place. No one should!
Anesthetic administration error left our daughter in extreme, prolonged pain that will take who-knows-how-long to fully resolve, for a procedure that may have been done on the wrong tooth! the dentist began doing the procedure despite our concerns and while we were in the middle of trying to understand and were questioning why they were trying to work on a completely different tooth than we were previously told! They had no coherent explanation of what was happening so I said I didn’t even know if we wanted to do the procedure but was then told by dentist she had already started! She had jammed the anesthetic needle into my daughter gums despite the confusion and during our questions! And when we tried to get answers after, all we were met with was evasiveness and defensiveness like the driving motivation was fear of a malpractice lawsuit, instead concern for our daughter or determining what had happened.

Our son has been going here since about 2012. His original dentist retired and we have been getting nothing but run around since. It has been nothing less than a disaster since covid. We drive about an hour each way to visit. A couple weeks ago they had us scheduled for a 7 am appointment. Just as we entered Marshfield they called and canceled his appointment due to the dentist not being available. An 80 mile round-trip for nothing. The appointment was rescheduled for today and when we showed up they told us we didn't have an appointment today. This place has always been a little goofy but I've never been as irritated with a dentist office. And the appointment was for a consult, which they required because he was seeing a new dentist. We can't even get him scheduled for a cleaning until after the consult. He's already been a patient there for 13 plus years. Ridiculous operation!

I went in for a broken tooth and to make a long story short they refused to see me as a patient for false reasoning. I have severe pain issues and it's difficult to contend with needles being jammed in my jaw this by no means made me non-compliant. This office was the one who refused to call back and he understanding the amount of effort I had to take to go into the office as well as make phone calls was ridiculous. In the past, my spouse has had excessive overpayments to have to repay 2 and 3 times after they were paid so you have to watch that part of it too. I am praying that the next place I go I get better care.

I love my hygienist but they have no dentists when yours is out of the office if you have an emergency.

I had an appointment back in September of 2024. Was told that my dentist was going to be out of office but I could still proceed with xrays and cleaning. I was also told i would have had the dentist call me for a discussion of the xrays. Never happened. Now this week I am told that my appointment had to be rescheduled because now the hygienists do not work Fridays anymore. Why was I scheduled months in advanced for a Friday appointment if that is no longer an option. Soonest reschedule would be October. So much for being able to keep up with a regular cleaning schedule

I have had the same dentist for 20+ years and being he Dr.Bruce is retiring I can not be seen they say at this dental clinic. I get thrown out the door like a nobody. I am very disgusted and disappointed with this dental clinic you would think they would strive to keep there long patients. This is a very bad experience🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
