A friend of mine had been having some issues with her septic backing up in her basement for about 3 weeks. After several calls to local plumbers and “rooter” type businesses to come take a look at her issue it was determined that the only qualified companies were out of town and charged an arm and a leg just to stop by, upwards of $375. Furthermore they expressed their local clients took priority. The city of Marshfield was putting in a new wastewater system on the street I live on. The city suggested that I replace my Lateral pipe which went from the new system to my home. This was an ongoing project that continued over a few weeks. I hired Cal to do the job. He worked with the city and got the pipe replaced as efficiently as possible. He was always here when he said that he would be. We communicated through texts and phone calls. He was very prompt in returning calls/ texts from me about any concerns or questions that I had. Cal answered the phone on a Friday night, told me how to turn the main water off and on and scheduled work on Monday to save me money at his suggestion. He was also available by text message. Scheduled work for 8 a.m. He arrived on the dot, replaced a sump pump and check valve and had me write down my billing information. This was all completed in a half hour due to his knowledge, many decades of experience and his ethics of being efficient with money and time.
