I initially liked my experience at this clinic, but lately, I have found my OT to be extremely insensitive and blaming. Even though my rehab is far from over, I am not going to continue going to a place where my entire person feels so invalidated and maltreated.
This location is the Therapy Central of Unity Point Meriter. I've been going there for occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physical therapy. All of the therapists are absolutely excellent. They really care and tailor the therapy to fit your needs.
One appointment. One hour. Billed almost $900 to my insurance. My part - $155. One appointment billed separately to 3 (1st - evaluation - $550. Then - billed at 15 minute increments. I apparently had 2 15-min sessions then). And - the PT was unsure of what the cause of my severe pain was.
I will NEVER go to a PT again at Meriter, and I will absolutely make sure I ask what the exact costs are going to be before I ever consider this again. They are going to bankrupt us all.
