I have now gone to Denise three times, and I am always thoroughly impressed with her knowledge and skill. Personally, I do not enjoy getting haircuts and always put them off. However, I am now encouraged to keep up with my haircuts. Denise Is also very knowledgeable on products that work well for your hair. I always came in with an overwhelming number of questions and she patiently answer all of them. She also gave me various recommendations on different products based on my budget. Thank you for helping me feel confident and take care of my hair!
Kale did an amazing job with my cut! They were super kind & friendly, really listened to my preferences, and seemed super committed to ensuring that I was happy with the outcome. I enjoyed our time together and really look forward to being back! Also Union recently started offering scent-free options and Kale mentioned possibly offering Sunday low-stim haircuts for a quieter place if folks prefer that. Shout out to the inclusivity & accessibility, which has been hard to find in traditional salons. Thanks so much! 🙂🌈
I've been coming here for a little over a year, and I've seen both Vals and Albert. They both have done great jobs. Both are very personable and easy to talk to. I like the products they carry and the vibe of the salon (very chill/laid back while still caring about quality).
Two things:
1. For those with sensory considerations, one side of the salon is significantly louder/more echo-y than the other. You may want to request the reception side or bring ear buds if those are concerns you have.
2. Parking can be tough. Give yourself a 10 minute window to park and get into the building before your appointment (or bike! they offer bike benefits).
