Love it! I was growing tired of my previous stylist and thought I'd take a chance with a Groupon for a cut+conditioning treatment at The Experience Salon. I had bought the Groupon with the intent of saving it for a 'rainy day' and ended up redeeming it after I had a bit of a fiasco with an at-home color kit (think jack-o-lantern orange and black). I made it very clear when I scheduled my appointment that I was going to need some serious time to right this wrong... I was so amazed with the results! She did a phenomenal job on the color, super rich and glossy, no trace of the jack-o-lantern print. I have very long, thick hair that is naturally a very mousy brown color; Kelly is great at keeping my color believable, yet striking -- also, my hair has never been healthier. I get the conditioning treatment at every appointment (usually every 6-7 weeks) and I use the Awapuhi line of shampoo/conditioner/deep conditioner. I've been going back to Kelly for over a year now and also got my sister and boyfriend hooked. Very professional, sparkling clean space, nice atmosphere, great conversationalist, amazing stylist, what else can I say...? A+. One thing to note, Kelly is the only person in the salon - expect to leave a voice message when calling - she returns calls between clients.

Sorry it took me a week to post this where everyone can see it, but......YOU ARE AMAZING. I came in with more than a lot of hair that was just out of control. It also had coloring that had worn out it's welcome. I asked Kelly what she would do if it was her hair. Then I showed her two photos of cuts I liked. She did something 1/2 way in between in addition to adding both highlights and lowlig...hts. It is the cut/color I have been waiting for all my life. I was very hesitant to do this drastic until after my daughter's wedding in June, but a co-worker told me to jump in with both feet before I left work for my appointment. I have never been happier. Kelly told me that I had more hair on the floor than some of her clients start out with. The next day I have never smiled so much in my life. I gave out three referrals that day. I even cried (happy tears). And best of all, Kelly told me how she was styling it as she went so I have been able to re-create it myself once I washed it at home (that is a sign of a really good cut/stylist). Okay, enough; I have to go book my next 2 appts now.

Ok, so I haven't been to the salon yet. Why? Because I live 2 hours away. But I can attest to the quality of service. Kelly is a dear friend and recently helped me discover new hair products for my dry and damaged hair. She saved the day with the Awapuhi Wild Ginger line! She arranged for me to receive the product at home and followed up with me to make sure it was working for me. I am a follower of the salon on Facebook and won a half price haircut! I can't wait to head down to Madison and redeem it. Do yourself a favor and Experience true customer service and visit Kelly today. You won't be sorry. I guarantee it!!
